WHO’S MOON?

A HUMPBACK WHALE THAT INSPIRED THE WORLD

In 2022 Moon was sadly hit by a boat and suffered a severe spinal injury that left her only able to use her pectoral fins.

Her story made international news when despite her injury, she continued and completed her annual migration of over 3,000 miles.

Telephone Tag learned about Moon’s story from a whale watch they attended in Maui, Hawaii in January 2023.

Moon’s story of strength and perseverance inspired Telephone Tag to write the song and book “Hey Moon” hoping to inspire others to never quit during challenging times.
